Hi, and welcome to my video page. I've just added 6 new videos. One, of D´lilah Monroe and the Tom Cats doing "I´ve Got Rhythm", and five more of the late Vince Welnick and Friends at the Mystic Theater around 2003. All of these videos are easy to watch. Just click on the thumbnail image. A new window will appear with a feed from YouTube in it. If the video doesn't start just click on the center of the screen and you will be taken to the appropriate page on the YouTube site. Also, if you double click the screen on the You Tube page the clip will blow up to full screen. All of these clips have high enough resolution that they still look decent when they are blown up like that. Cheers! I hope you like them.

Lost Weekend Videos
These were filmed at Freight And Salvage in Berkeley, a fun, alcohol free, family oriented establishment where we play fairly frequently. Sometimes we give swing dancing lessons to people who come early.

Guitar Solo From Caravan |
| This clip starts with a short steel guitar fill from Bobby Black, one of several he did in this song. Then I come in. Don Burnham, the bandleader, called it "A guitar ride for the ages". Check it out and see what you think. |

The Complete Version Of Caravan |
|
One of the best of many great solos that night is highlighted in this clip. It's by our drummer at the time, John Brinck. He studied under the late Gene Krupa in his younger days. Watch how he inflates his drums to change their pitch.

Stevedore Stomp |
|
Our horn section, the "Longhorns", really goes downtown on this classic. We also have twin fiddles, and the usual first class job from Bobby Black. I get a solo too, and Bing Nathan gats a couple of short bass fills towards the end. This one really cooks. Actually it swings. You'll get the idea. |

I´ve Got Rhythm |
|
From The Amnesia Bar in San Francisco´s Mission District, this video is one of my personal favorites. D´Lilah Monroe is Pam Brandon in another role, this time serving up smokin´ hot roadhouse style swing. Other musicians are... Greg Laakso-Sax, Ted Silverman-Mandolin, Don Ward-Drums, and Tom Drohan-Bass.

These clips were filmed at Armando´s in Martinez. This is a great place to play and they draw the kind of really fun crowd that is always encouraging. You may recognize these song titles from elsewhere on the site but they are from a different show and are different versions. Enjoy.
